Rich, Motoko. "In Web Age, Library Job Gets Update." New York Times 16 February 2009. 17 February 2009 <http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/16/books/16libr.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=Stephanic%20Rosalia&st=cse>.
Rich's informative article profiles Stephani Rosalia, who is a certified librarian in a Brooklyn (NY) public school. Rich focuses on the new skills that Rosalia has had to develop and pass on to the children because of the internet. You will recognize some of what Rosalia does because I ask you to do the same thing: evaluate internet sources. The article goes on to describe how librarians are typically some of the first personnel cut when schools are faced with budget deficits. Those of you interested in evaluating internet sources, how young people evaluate sources, or how the type of work that Rosalia does is underfunded will find this article useful.
